Keeping fit enables us to do what we want, when and how we want to do it. Being unfit limits what we can do, and when and how we do it. So keeping fit is critical to living the life we want to live. And Pilates is an excellent means of getting fit and staying fit whatever your age.
Pilates is a series of movements designed to give the practitioner a full body workout - regular practice increases core strength, flexibility and reduces the risk of injury. Joseph Pilates famously said, 'In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 you'll see the difference, and in 30 you'll have a new body.'
Our aim is to encourage more people to practice Pilates. Our approach is inclusive, supportive and encouraging - and we strongly believe that exercise should be neither painful nor boring. Whatever your current level of fitness, we'll have a class that suits you. We also offer one-one assessments and sessions if preferred.
